Based on the school values of Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dedicated Teamwork and Excellence, this is a compulsory, stand-alone unit, for Year 9 students.

This ensures that policy requirements are met for delivering the Respectful Relationships program and Career Action Planning, without detracting from other curriculum areas.

It also provides an opportunity for students to explore elements of social justice and community engagement, through a research project and City Experience.
